Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Colombo and take a private transfer to Shangri-La Colombo for a classy welcome with private dining and luxury rooms. The rest of the day is yours to do what you like. Stay in Colombo for the night.

Get to Bandaranaike International Airport and then go to Shangri-La Colombo. Settle into your luxurious room and enjoy private dinner in the city. Colombo for the night.

Day 02: Private ride to Kitulgala / Stay at Blackpool Eco Lodge, a small riverside resort that is perfect for relaxing in the highlands / Gentle hiking and guided birding / Stay the night in Kitulgala.

Go to Kitulgala and check in at the Blackpool Eco Lodge. Take a guided birding trip and a leisurely hike along the river. Stay at Kitulgala for the night.

Day 03: In the morning, a local guide will take you on a walk through the jungle to point out plants, animals, and waterfalls. In the afternoon, you'll engage with villagers and see a craft display. You'll spend the night in Kitulgala.

Day 04: Travel to Nuwara Eliya and stay at St. Andrew's Hotel, a small, historic hotel in the middle of tea country. In the afternoon, explore the estate and have high tea. Spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 07: Move to the southern coast and stay at Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort, a private beachfront villa with an emphasis on wellbeing. In the afternoon, go to the spa and relax by the sea. Spend the night in Beruwala.

Day 08: All day health and fun, with the choice to go snorkeling or take a boat trip down the coast. In the evening, a private supper by the ocean. Overnight at Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort.

Day 09: Go back to Colombo to leave.
