Every day is carefully organized to show off Sri Lanka’s less well-known scenery while making sure that travel is easy and comfortable.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Colombo, then drive to Kalpitiya Peninsula. Spend the evening on a calm beach, then spend the night in Kalpitiya.

Get to Bandaranaike International Airport and then go to the Kalpitiya Peninsula. Spend the evening on a peaceful, private beach. Kalpitiya for the night.

Day 02: A guided dolphin-watching trip in the Kalpitiya lagoon; kayaking through the mangroves and exploring the shore in the afternoon; a sunset stroll along the peninsula; and an overnight stay in Kalpitiya.

Day 03: Travel to the Knuckles Mountain Range. Go on a short guided hike through cloud forests and secret waterfalls at Meemure hamlet. In the evening, look at the stars. Spend the night near Knuckles.

Day 04: In the morning, we hike to some minor overlooks surrounding Meemure. In the afternoon, we visit a local tea estate in Madulkelle. We take a light stroll through the plantation and talk to people in the hamlet. We spend the night at Knuckles.

Day 05: Go to Kitulgala and do a guided river hike along the Kelani River and the jungle around it. You may also go birdwatching and take pictures of nature if you like. Spend the night in Kitulgala.

Day 06: Half-day white-water rafting on the Kelani River, an afternoon hike to the Belilena waterfalls, and a night by the river in Kitulgala.

Day 07: Go to Mannar and see the coastal lagoons, Adam's Bridge views, and the old Dutch Fort. Sunset picture shoot and stay the night in Mannar.

Day 08: Morning trek along Mannar's quiet beaches, visit to the Thiruketheeswaram Hindu Temple in the afternoon, free time in the evening, and a night in Mannar.

Day 09: Leave for Colombo, stopping at the Negombo fish market or the Dutch canal region along the way.
